Within our classes we are able to tailor the exercises to support people who are new to exercise, through to those at competition level. You will learn correct technique and constantly be challenged to find intensity. You will become stronger and you will get better.
Come along for a *FREE intro session and experience a CrossFit workout. If you wish to continue your CrossFit journey we will organise a time for you to complete our Fundamentals Session. In this session you will become familiar with the gym set-up and our fundamental movements and techniques.
CrossFit is suitable for participants of all levels and we take pride in our sense of community and camaraderie. Not only will you become fitter, you will also find a great community of friends, all of whom are sharing a similar journey.

CROSSFIT IS MORE THAN JUST A GYM
It seems almost surreal to think back to 2014 when my daughter, Tess, was in so much intense back pain every day, that she was absent from school for half the year. She was in Year 8, and up until then had been incredibly active and participating in many sports.
Her back started to be painful mid year with it intensifying quite quickly. In August we had a family holiday to Bali where Tess was unable to join in with any of our activities. Even bringing her brand new surf board with her was not enough to stop the chronic and debilitating pain.
Back home, we tried so many treatments from massage, osteo, acupuncture, physio, a paediatric specialist, and an orthopaedic specialist. We had xrays, MRI’s, and cortisone injection to her lower L5/S1 region, and heavy duty pain relief medication. None gave any long term relief.
Then we met Matt and Jodi. They suggested to join CrossFit and see if they could help strengthen through her core area to support her back. And they did!
Now after nearly three years of CrossFit – up to four sessions a week, including a PT session with Jodi, Tess is now active, strong, fit, and happy.
JB CrossFit is more than just a gym. It's a space with understanding trainers who have encouraged and supported Tess to do her best to her ability. And, her co – athletes have also been so encouraging and supportive to her. Everyone within the box has been amazing with Tess, especially when sometimes it’s been not such a good day for her.
